"We live in the township of Grosebay on the Golden road in the Bays of Harris and we founded the Isle of Harris Knitwear company in 2001.
We both have a real enthusiasm for the clothing industry and love working with Harris tweed, one of the finest cloths on the global market today.
We support and encourage the Harris Tweed industry, its history and its survival and our aim is to help promote the traditional craft of Hebridean weaving whilst offering a friendly and efficient service to our customers."

Many of the yarns we use are produced using the traditional carding and ring spinning methods employed throughout the Harris Tweed industry. The finish is unique - strong and hardwearing yet soft, lightweight and extremely comfortable. The long staple and high tensile strength of the wool allows spinning to much finer counts at reduced twist, ensuring the finished garment has the softest handle possible.
